Prof. Arul's Mother

It is with deep sadness we let you know Prof. Arul's Mother passed away on Saturday. Mahalaksmi just informed me. He will be in India till Oct. May God Bless the family with strength during this time. Our condolences to all of them .

Mall in MCC!

Read this report in The Hindu yesterday:

Three new projects, including a shopping mall for students, were dedicated at Madras Christian College, East Tambaram last week.

Green Woods is a mall for students and families living inside the campus and is a revival of a cooperative store that functioned many decades ago.

The other projects include a modern commerce department block and a new block for the International Guest House.

At the dedication ceremony, R.W. Alexander Jesudasan, college principal presided. A. Besant C. Raj, chairman, MCC Association, dedicated the projects.

Dunno how big this mall is. If it is pretty big it spoils the campus greenery. Looks like there will be more buildings than woods in MCC soon.

June 29th

 Friends, it has been a long journey. If you all remember, this is the day (29-06-1988) some of us met 26 years ago. Some of us are still in touch giving a feel as if we met yesterday. Thanks to Roshin for connecting some of us through this blog. Thanks to the social networks for bringing us closer.  It's understood that everyone is busy, but please find some time to keep this blog active. Ok bye friends, have a nice time. 

culture Shock 3.0. --while deepwoods is going on in MCC..

Hi, since no action.Requests from some and suggestion i post snow pics here.. thought can get You all to do some exercise.. and enjoy some fun.. like how we used to have during cultures. This is My oldest daughters school and another local school club doing culture shock.
