Welcome to the blog world of The Class of 1991-93 at Madras Christian College, Tambaram. We were a fun-loving batch who found as much pleasure in yakking in the gutters as in attending our classes in Selaiyur Hall.
When I say gutters, they mean rainwater drains, not the yukky gutters. There were no sewage flowing, but only dried leaves and twigs and occasionally some creepy-crawlies.
As for classes in Selaiyur Hall, it wasnt all that easy concentrating in the 3-walled classrooms - and just 2 pillars where the fourth wall was to be - with hall guys passing by and the aroma of food cooking in the mess kitchen. But we survived, and came out in passable, not flying, colours. Anyway, life has treated us all kindly and I believe we are all doing well in our vocations.

This is just great, thanks Roshin to make this happen at such a short notice.
Where are the others???? would like to add in the 1988-91 batch too. Venky, Prem, Rajeev, Murali, Usha Nair, Annie pl chip in.
Miller, that's fine. You can invite ur BA friends too. WHich is why I said Club of 91. It could mean either the 88-91 batch or the 91-93 batch.
This is a fabulous way to keep connected. Very nostalgic indeed.... A convenient place to meet - wow the era of cyberspace!!!! all of us in different continents have the opportunity to meet and share our experiences and reminiscence on our past wonderful college era which we fondly call as the "Gutter years". Blog on guys... I look forward to meeting you all here for years to come. Thanks to Roshin.
